THOMAS SCOTT
Thomas Scott was an adventurer. He was born in Clandeboye, Ire in 1842, and died at the Red River Colony, Man on March 4, 1870. Thomas immigrated to Canada in 1863. He came to the Red River Colony in 1869. He had been captured and put in prison many times by the Métis, and he was court-martialled and was executed with Louis Riel`s approval and his execution became a symbol of Métis hostility to Ontario.
